I drove up from GA, I met you at Moore, I am an Alu Cab Canopy Camper guy, talked with you at Moore, enjoyed the Kentucky event, had a great time, mainly hung out with Steve from veterans overland.

We had a great time at the summit and plan on going again next year.

Fun event, I enjoyed the trail rides. I will definitely be back.

Eh, I would say it’s very subjective which one is better. I had an opportunity to drive both (ended up getting a Rubicon) and honestly in my opinion, the ability to take the Jeep apart like a lego set and add a million of accessories is a win for me, unlike 4runner. I abslutely dislike the interior of a 4runner: the plastic trim and outdated entertainment system. Also to get as close to Rubicon, I would assume you will need to drop close to 65K for TRD PRO

I just found your videos! And I'm watching the one you're calling incredible idaho! I have sat here with my chin on my chest LOL and my heart racing and chill after chill after chill LOL! I don't get to Camp anymore but when my boys were younger and my husband was still alive that was our favorite thing to do. R o u g h camping. I've been to seven different countries many states in the United States. BUT the best vacation I've ever had in my life was with my two boys and my little brother 3 weeks in a place called Paint Creek! I have really enjoyed this incredible trip to the mountains of Idaho with you guys. It's been wonderful.. I am a 77 year old great-grandmother from the mountains of Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains. Now that I have found you I will continue to watch! Love it😊😊😊😊

So basically pay a ton of money for a GX 460 for what a stock 4 Runner can so at half the cost. LOL

Great info! I tend to go with mid grade items since I’m overlanding in the same vehicle I drive the kids to school in I’m not doing anything wild. I agree that quality coms is important but can’t say I totally agree about the boofwang radio being garbage after watching notarubicon’s channel and grabbing some on his tests and recommendations. That being said I also run a midland MXT 275 in my Tacoma. I am enjoying your content immensely and really appreciate your insight and reviews!!!

Went out west overlanding (or trying to) broke down in NV but it was fun. Your little guy is growing up FAST. Blink your eyes and graduation is around the corner.

Like others, I don't disagree. I own both as well, but I have to say you're comparing a Jeep Rubicon or Sahara to all Jeeps. I have the Sport, which is the 2.0, and I get 21 miles on the highway. I'm really heavy with a Gobi rack, an awning, a shower ensuite, steel bumpers, side steps, and other stuff. Since my Jeep is a daily driver, I feel like it's better than my 4Runner. I also have more storage room in my JL than my 4Runner. Overall, to me, they are both dependable vehicles that anyone should consider getting. #JeepLife #4RunnerLife #OffRoadAdventure

How do you add zones

Drove up from south Georgia to the Overland Adventure Summit and had a blast. Saw some old friends and made some new ones. One observation, it appeared Alu Cab was heavily represented there amongst the attendees, as an ACCC owner I was happy to see this.

Absolutely loved this video, however I did want to recommend something I often see in CO. You came upon a ton of downed trees that were already cut, instead of leaving them narrow, it would only take a minute per tree to push them a bit off to the side. I like to budge cut ones with my tires if they are positioned correctly.
